Meet The Vintage Hags
Proprietors, Linda George and Debbie Formento (The Vintage Hags)
were first
tennis
partners
who shared a common interest in vintage
items and wanted to share
that interest
with old and new friends.They tried renting booth space in other antique shops as a hobby
as they both had full time jobs. None of these spaces offe
red “just
the right fit.” They
were either too junkie, had too much new merchandise, or were more
flea market than
shop--you know
the stores. So, on April 28, 1997, with just a handful
of talented dealers,
Vintage Village was born. Ten years later, with the careful nurturing by
the "Hags" and
now 40+ dealers, Vintage Village has grown into the coziest Antiques
and Collectibles
shop in the Metro Atlanta Area.
Why you say, “The Vintage Hags,” which they are fondly called 10 years later? Because the “hags” are fussy about the atmosphere; picky about the dealers, the look, and the mix of merchandise; and “above all” are insistent about pleasing the Vintage Village customers (their favorite asset!)
Today, Vintage Village features the wares of over 40+ talented and creative dealers in a two story building that was formerly the Masonic Lodge and
one of the first banks in the Snellville Area in the early 1960’s. With two floors, Vintage Village offers a
wide selection of antiques, collectibles, shabby chic & cottage charm,
Paris apartment, and some new items that are simply a must have. Whether you 
are
looking for depression glass; vintage pottery like McCoy, Hull, Roseville, and the like; vintage hats; a well loved old suitcase; awesome vintage lamps; sweet vintage baby dresses; sterling silver; candlesticks; fabulous vintage post cards; serving pieces for entertaining; fine china; a vintage chandelier; or a really nice cottage or traditional antique piece of furniture for your home; we invite you in for a visit.
We’re open Monday thru Saturday, 10am-6pm. We have it all, with treasures arriving daily, and you just never know what you might find. Come by for a visit and meet the “Hags” and their oh, so talented dealers. You won’t be disappointed!
